This has been one of the most stressful weeks ever. I've been wanting the floor fixed in my house for so long that I didn't take into account exactly how hard it was going to be. The floor is already fixed, which I was happy to see. I didn't think it would be after seeing the entire floor ripped up this morning, but even though it's done and ready, carpet installation won't happen until Saturday. *sigh*
I'm okay staying at the Extended Stay in Arcadia, a real deal at 75 and it's pet friendly which is great, but Spot doesn't deal well with not being at home. Wally doesn't care, but he hasn't had a good day, we saw his ex-mom today. She was pulling out of her driveway and we were walking right by. She saw him, looked at me then kept pulling out of the driveway. Well, now I know how she really fells. To top it all off for him, I opened the heavy ass door to the lobby on his foot. He yelped, and yelped, and yelped...and I cried, pretty much in that order.
Mimi, my poor Mimi kitty is at my Mom's house. She's got her own room which is good since my Mom has two little dogs and 3 cats, but I feel bad for her. She was just getting back to normal since Wallys arrival and now this...thrust in a strange house for no reason that she can understand. I can't wait for life to get back to normal.

I am told you never can get rid of cat smell. I know Chuck never could no
matter how many times he had the rugs professionally cleaned.
